I don’t want to say that I’m starting my weight loss journey right now, because I have started it a long time ago. The problem is that, it’s so hard to get results that I want.
So let’s just say that I want to take it more seriously and taking it one step at a time.
Peers refuse to acknowledge my weight issues, because I am not one to talk about it as well. It’s not that nobody takes me seriously when I say I want to loose the weight and become healthier, because I don’t discuss such things with them. This is probably one of the main reasons for joining SparkPeople.
I was taken at SparkPeople looking for healthy ice pop recipes, but then I stumbled upon a blog of someone and seeing how warm the people are and how this site values support system made me want to be a part of this community.
More than anything else, I need positive reinforcement to continue with this journey.
As I’ve said, one step at a time. So for this leg, my main goal is to loose about 10lbs in the next 31 days. I am 182lbs right now. My physical activities involve yoga and swimming. But I am going to start doing more cardio and a little strength training. I am also watching what I eat right now and consciously making healthy choices on my food and water intake.
